The second phase of the war with Gaza is now taking place. Over 1,000 Palestinians have died since the conflict began two weeks ago, over 4,700 have been injured and thousands more people have been internally displaced as they flee the bombings and gunfire.
With the battles intensifying and no end in sight, the figures of dead and injured are rising rapidly. The threat of a humanitarian crisis is worsening, as the Gaza strip- home to more than 1.5 million people- suffers shortages of food, water, electricity and fuel. Medical supplies are running dangerously low in hospitals and clinics, as aid supplies from outside Gaza remain at border crossings.

What is Muslim Aid doing?
Muslim Aid has been delivering humanitarian and developmental assistance in Palestine through its partners for over two decades. Our partners in Gaza have been delivering food packs to families and medical supplies to hospitals and clinics since the conflict began more than a week ago.We are also working with the Palestine Trauma Centre to provide social and psychological care for children and families affected by the war on Gaza.
Trauma Centres

Muslim Aid is supporting Trauma Centres which was established to provide psychological, social and health services for traumatized people, the project provides psychological treatment for patients with therapeutic and counselling support for their families. Education pamphlets are distributed which give families advice in coping with difficult situations. Food packages and non food items will also be distributed. The project will be implemented through the establishment of two units, one in Gaza city which extends to the Northern areas and one is located in the middle of the Gaza Strip which will serve over 200 families.
