Lack of access to safe drinking water is major concern in Africa and it is one of the primary causes of displacement.

Many places in Africa are drought affected and at the same time host an increasing number of IDPs and which are frequently affected by drought. Water and Sanitation Hygiene (WASH) has become a critical phenomenon in these regions generally and locations specified in the project specially.

In most areas, Women and children are caused to travel far a distances to collect unhygienic water for drinking and household uses and sometime death of both livestock and human being due to thirst occur.

Through Muslim Aid Australia, you can help us combat this situation and build a shallow-water well in one of the locations listed below:

  • Gambia
  • Togo
  • Burkina Faso
A water-well will on average benefit approximately 200 families in need.
