Shelter & Housing
Among the immediate needs of people displaced by conflict or disaster is shelter, either temporary or permanent, as a means of them rebuilding their lives. A home is indeed the key to a person’s sense of security, dignity and their ability to aspire to a better future. This need has been demonstrated on many occasions, especially when disaster strikes.
Our field teams provide temporary shelters such as tents, and even set up tent cities, for desperate people in such situations. For the longer-term, we also build permanent housing in consultation with the people we are helping.
Join us in our quest to provide appropriate and adequate shelter for those in need.
