| Muslim Aid Australia are funding the El-Wafa Rehabilitation Hospital in Gaza to provide medical services needed to help patients who are either war affected or other categories of patients get back to normal life and facilitate active daily living so that patient’s can eat, dress , bathe, use the toilet, and maintain an independent, normal and active life as much as possible as well as elderly people in Elderly nursing House. Technical services are also essential for a sound and effective reintegrated process and without them physically challenged people are deprived from their basic human rights to participate in society fully. |

El-Wafa hospital, during the course of medical rehab work, identifies and treats cases that are in need to be offered the spectrum of medical rehab services. It keeps updated data bases about the nature of the disability and contact of physically challenged people as well as the their personal history including their psycho-social needs.
This project gives El-Wafa the ability to continue offering Medical services for patients even in crisis. This Goal is being achieved by securing:
- Medications: Since El-wafa needs medication for inpatient department at the hospital. And, El-wafa offers free medication for needy patients who are coming to out-clinics.
- Disposables: they are needed in surgical operation and daily nursing for patient and elderly.
- Laboratories needs: there are three laboratories at Elwafa (Blood tests laboratory, Urodynamic Test Laboratory, and X-Ray room). This project will secure the main needs for laboratories.
- Fuel for electric generator: El-Wafa as Gaza Strip is suffering a lot from the continuous and radical cutting of electricity currently which affects negatively on the various electric medical equipments such as( laboratory equipments, therapy equipments, examination and diagnosis equipments, operation and X-ray equipments), in addition to the electrical equipments such as(cooling equipments, central warming, computer equipments). This fund contributes in securing Fuel for electric generator.

• Spinal Cord Injuries.
• Multiple fractures.
• Post traumatic Muscular-skeletal Disorders.
• Guns shot wounds to upper and lower extremities resulting in paralysis, deformities and/or dysfunction.
