Winter has arrived in Pakistan and in such circumstances the poor suffer immensely due to the inadequate resources available to guard themselves from the harsh conditions. Particularly the mountainous areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa which receives constant snowfall. Most of these people can’t afford to buy such things which will provide them protection from the cold.

How you've made a difference

Thanks to generous support from our donors, over 2,500 families were provided with heavy quilt blankets, cotton mattress and pillows to help them survive the freezing temperatures faced in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region.

Muslim Aid Australia’s Finance and Compliance Manager, Irfan Khalil travelled to Pakistan to implement and monitor the project.
