MAA International seeks an inspirational Donor Care Team Lead to join our mission-driven team. This role is not just about managing relationships but pioneering innovative strategies to connect our global donor community with impactful projects. You will be the architect of our donor experience, leading a team dedicated to nurturing and deepening these vital connections.

Your Role:

As the Donor Care Team Lead, you will be at the forefront of transforming our donor engagement landscape. You will devise and implement cutting-edge strategies to enhance donor experience, leveraging your expertise to lead a team that makes every donor feel valued and connected to our cause.

Key Responsibilities:

 

Strategic Donor Relations:

  • Innovate and implement dynamic strategies to deepen donor relationships, fostering a culture of transparency and trust.

  • Design and curate bespoke donor materials that not only thank but also tell a compelling story of the impact of their contributions.

  • Lead the stewardship activities creatively, ensuring each donor engagement is personal and memorable.


Engagement Leadership:

  • Champion a donor engagement vision, setting project timelines and milestones that align with our strategic goals.

  • Empower your team to create impactful and informative donor reports, showcasing the tangible difference made in communities we support.

  • Act as a mentor and guide to the Donor Care team, fostering a culture of excellence, responsiveness, and donor-centric service.


Community Fundraising Innovation:

  • Spearheaded initiatives to collaborate with businesses and individuals, turning community fundraising efforts into powerful partnerships.
  • Lead the charge in utilising and optimising online fundraising platforms, setting benchmarks for success and innovation.
  • Systematically track and analyse community fundraising efforts to continuously improve and innovate our approaches.


Essential Qualifications:

  • Proven experience leading teams and developing strategic donor relations or marketing initiatives.

  • A deep understanding of the nuances of donor psychology and a passion for creating extraordinary donor experiences.

  • Expertise in donor databases/CRM systems, outstanding organisational skills, and a flair for balancing independent initiative with collaborative spirit.

  • 2-5 years of experience in a philanthropic or international aid environment, with a track record of innovative community engagement
